Preferred Support is designed for companies with little or no MANMAN knowledge or expertise and for companies that have migrated to another system and shifted MANMAN resources to support the new system.

 

The Support Group Preferred Support Includes:

The “Core 4” modules: Mfg, OMAR, AP, GL (additional module support is available at additional cost)

MANMAN support for the FORTRAN coded system

Hardware and systems requirements

Support for Modified software (FORTRAN source code and documentation required)

More thorough / detailed system and database management

Enhanced MPE/iX or VAX VMS Operating System support (choose one)

SLA Performance / Availability guarantee

Database capacity monitoring, optimization and related maintenance

Batch processing processing, scheduling, and repair

MANMAN application management (fiscal period “month end” close, etc.)

Security audit and maintenance

Installation and implementation of HP3000/MANMAN third party software on host system

Prerequisites

ADAGER or DBGeneral database management utility

Full documentation on all tools, modifications and procedures

MPE/iX from VeSoft (not required, but highly recommended)

MANMAN usage assessment survey

Documented IT plan and support strategy

Computer Operations and Month-End close procedures

Detailed hardware configuration information

FORTRAN compiler and efficient modem or available Internet access to the HP3000 or VAX hardware

Trained users proficient enough with MANMAN applications to perform their functions and discuss their problems
